What is a travel advisor?

Think of me as your well-traveled friend with serious industry connections. I draw on my own travel experience, ongoing training, and a global network of partners — hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, local guides, and more — to plan trips that actually reflect who you are, not just what's available online. From destination research to booking logistics to on-the-ground support, I handle the details so you can focus on enjoying the journey.

What services do you offer?

At the core, I do three things: design custom itineraries, manage all your bookings, and support you throughout your trip. In practice, that looks like:

  • Custom itinerary planning — destination research, pacing, experience curation, and a day-by-day plan built around how you actually travel

  • Hotel-only bookings — ideal if you've already got your trip sorted but want VIP perks at your accommodations

  • Accommodation & cruise bookings — with access to VIP perks you won't get booking on your own

  • Tours, transfers & experiences — vetted local guides, private tours, and the kind of insider access that takes years to build

  • On-the-ground support — trusted local partners and a real person to call if something needs sorting mid-trip

  • Flight booking — available for an additional fee, though I'm always happy to advise on routing and timing regardless

Not sure what level of support you need? Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense for your trip.

What can I expect when working with you?

A trip designed around you, with support from start to finish. That means exclusive VIP perks at hotels and cruises, honest insider intel on your destination, and trusted local partners on the ground. We'll design something that reflects your interests, your pace, and your idea of a great trip.

What's the process?

What's the advantage of working with a travel advisor?

It starts with an inquiry form—just a quick snapshot of your trip. From there, I'll review the details and we'll schedule a consultation call to dig into your preferences, travel dates, group size, and any special considerations. After our call, I'll send a planning summary, a fee invoice (if applicable), and get to work on your proposal.

Through my partnerships with thousands of hotels and cruise lines worldwide, I can often secure:

  • Room upgrades (when available)

  • Early check-in / late check-out (when available)

  • Daily complimentary breakfast

  • Resort or spa credits

  • Welcome amenities

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

These perks are typically only available through advisor bookings — you won't find them on Expedia or Booking.com.

Travel partners pay advisors a commission for bookings—it's already built into the rate, so you're not paying anything extra. What you do get is personalized support, VIP perks, and someone who knows the property you're staying at.

Possibly. If your booking is with one of my hotel partners, I can often add myself as the agent of record and unlock perks like upgrades and amenities after the fact. Reach out and we'll see what's possible.

Honeymoons, milestone celebrations, family trips, solo travel, multi-generational reunions—if it involves thoughtful planning and a great destination, I'm in. I specialize in culturally immersive experiences across Europe and Latin America, but my network reaches well beyond that.

Anywhere the trip calls for. My sweet spot is culturally immersive travel — destinations with depth, history, great food, and experiences worth slowing down for. That might be Italy or Japan, Morocco or Mexico, Southeast Asia or South America. If it's a place worth really experiencing, I can plan it well.

Yes to both. I'll match you with the right operator or cruise line for your style and budget, and handle the logistics from there.

I can, for an additional fee. That said, I generally recommend booking directly with the airline—it gives you more flexibility for changes and lets you manage things like seat selection and loyalty points directly. I'm happy to advise on routing and timing either way.

I don't book Airbnb, but I do have access to curated villas and vacation rentals through my travel partners. If a private rental is the right fit for your trip, we'll find a vetted option.

Yes. To ensure the level of attention each trip deserves, I work with the following minimums:

  • $12,000 CAD for fully customized, immersive itineraries (based on two travelers)

  • $6,000 CAD for simpler, all-inclusive getaways — think Caribbean or Mexico (based on two travelers)

These cover accommodations, experiences, and core bookings, but not flights, incidentals, or additional travel fees.

As early as possible. More lead time means better availability, better rates, and a more considered itinerary. For peak seasons or complex trips, six to twelve months out is ideal.

Absolutely—I work best when clients are engaged. The more you share about your interests and travel style, the more I can tailor things. Think of it as a collaboration, not a handoff.

Yes, with some caveats. If you'd like to handle certain bookings (flights, for example), we can work around that. Just keep in mind that accommodations booked outside my network won't qualify for VIP perks, and depending on the scope, additional planning fees may apply.

For flights, absolutely—I'd actually recommend booking directly with the airline when using points. For accommodations, hotels need to be booked through my network with a credit card to unlock those VIP perks. It's the only way to guarantee the benefits.

Yes. For custom itinerary planning, I charge a non-refundable planning fee before work begins. If you've already selected your accommodations or cruise, I can handle the booking on your behalf at no additional cost—and make sure you're set up for any available perks.

Planning fees are non-refundable. For other bookings, cancellation terms follow each provider's individual policy. Travel insurance is strongly recommended—it's one of the best investments you can make for any trip.
